Science Teacher Position: Science Teacher Location: Swansea Contract Type: Full-time / Temporary Closing Date: Friday 20 th December Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Science Teacher to work in one of our partner schools in Swansea. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging science lessons across a range of topics in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will be working within a collaborative team of professionals, ensuring that students are inspired, challenged, and supported in their scientific learning. This role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator to contribute to the development of the science department and support students in achieving their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons that cater to various learning styles and abilities. Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for science. Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, ideas, and best practices. Participate in the development and enhancement of the science curriculum. Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment in the lab and classroom. Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and school events as required. Key Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A strong background in science with a relevant degree (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics). Experience teaching science at [Key Stage 3/4/5] level. Passion for science and teaching, with the ability to inspire students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well as part of a team and contribute to a collaborative school culture. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Desirable: Experience teaching A-Level science courses. Strong classroom management skills. Knowledge of the latest developments in science education. A positive and enthusiastic student body eager to learn.
