Aspire provides extraordinary support for exceptional people living with Dementia, Learning Disabilities, Autism and/or complex health needs in Salford and the surrounding areas. We offer a range of day services, respite care, supported living, and community and carer support, helping people to live their lives, their way. We are passionate about supporting people to achieve their own personal goals, dreams, and ambitions. We are looking to expand our HR services, and an exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Officer to join the team. Initially, the role will focus on promoting adult social care as a rewarding career by offering recruitment support, including shortlisting CVs/pre-interview checks, phone screening, and right-to-work checks. You will be responsible for coordinating interviews with hiring managers and processing new starter administration, such as DBS checks, references, and health checks, so you will need to be highly organised and have excellent communication skills. In the longer term, the role will develop to include more elements of generalist HR services, including supporting managers with casework, working with our Data Officer to create analytical reports and other duties as per our role profile below. This role, reporting directly to the Head of HR, would benefit someone looking to take the next step and evolve into a generalist role, in a supportive and progressive organisation. Enhanced DBS disclosure is a requirement for this position. Please note shortlisting will commence on 2nd January 2025 with a view to interviewing on 7th and 9th January 2025. Closing Date: 31st December 2024 For an informal discussion about the role, please email natasha.lawlessiamaspire.org.uk.
