About the Opportunity
Nuclear Power Programmes are delivering client critical works to some of our major UK and European Projects. Our embedded teams are delivering support to Hinkley Point C (New build power station in the South West), Sizewell C (located in the South East), helping develop technologies in SMR (Small modular Reactor) capability and working towards building Poland's first Nuclear Power station.
Working in both client facing and internal roles we are delivering major programme and project management capabilities throughout the project lifecycle. We are driving to deliver safe, high quality and to time solutions by thinking innovatively and working collaboratively.
Jacobs are seeking and LTQR Manager to facilitate and contribute into project wide LTQR management issues which require a high level of interaction and coordination with other members, site wide team and third party contractors. In addition to the development, liaising, reporting, and verification of LTQR accountabilities, the LTQR Manager will be required to adhere to and suggest enhancements and improvements to company policies, procedures and protocols for Project Delivery/Close Out, Handover, Quality Control and Record Keeping.
In this you will be responsible for supporting the identification of appropriate documentation during contractor on-boarding, including the determination of LTQRs to be generated prior to the start of the construction works, ensuring continued progressive collation throughout the life cycle of the project, where content is verified / approved at the associated procedural review points and uploaded onto EDRMS in line with completed physical works. Key responsibilities will be:
1. Work with the Project and Contract Managers, ensuring the Works Information (WI) has suitable and sufficient content within, pertaining to the collation of Handover Documentation
2. Liaise with the Quality team to ensure that contractor’s produced partitioning strategy and ITPs for work is acceptable
3. Produce and manage the associated LTQR checklists upon approval of partitioning strategy and ITPs, identifying required inputs for the review by various stakeholders
4. Ensure the contractor is fully aware of their obligations, in regard to LTQR requirements.
5. Organising briefings, meetings, presentations and providing guidance and familiarisation of those requirements, to better prepare the Contractor to deliver the correct documentation in the Project Life Cycle.
6. Refine and implement LTQR delivery strategy to support the successful handover as required of areas, assets, systems and works, both for offsite and onsite works
7. Manage the employment of the RSOs and Completions Coordinators to ensure timely delivery, review and approval of all relevant LTQRs to enable follow on works and installation
8. Liaise with Tier 1 Contractors, other members of the completion team, to ensure that any subsidiary or associated LTQRs are clearly identified, related and documented including offsite manufacturing and generic onsite records
Here's What You'll Need:
9. Degree educated in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, construction management or equivalent vocational training and experience
10. Experience in the delivery of large, complex projects, including Power, Chemical and Industrial
11. Knowledge of operating in a high security environment
12. Experience in construction, installation, erection and commissioning
13. Background in the installation and erection of large Civil, Mechanical or Electrical plant
