The Senior Account Manager at Inspired Thinking Group (ITG) plays a pivotal role in driving client success and satisfaction. This position is responsible for overseeing the management of one of our key accounts, ensuring the seamless execution of marketing campaigns, and fostering strong relationships with clients. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget. Our client is in the tech industry, so an interest in this sector would be preferable.
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about digital marketing, possesses a strong strategic mindset with a CRM focus especially around retention and loyalty practices, and excels in project management. You will be expected to identify opportunities for account growth while proactively addressing client needs and challenges.
Core Responsibilities Include:
* Managing day-to-day client relationships and serving as the primary point of contact.
* Leading projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered within agreed timelines and budgets.
* Developing strategic proposals and presentations for clients based on their needs and objectives.
* Collaborating with creative and production teams to execute campaigns, ensuring that all outputs align with brand standards and client expectations.
* Monitoring project performance, providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders.
* Identifying and resolving potential issues before they become problems.
* Actively participating in client meetings to gauge feedback and drive improvements.
* Contributing to business development efforts and identifying areas for upselling or cross-selling services.
Requirements
* Deep understanding of account management and client relationship principles.
* Demonstrable experience in working with clients on CRM practices and strategy.
* Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within a marketing or advertising agency.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail.
* Proficient in leveraging project management tools and reporting systems.
* Strong teamwork skills and the ability to motivate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
* Proactive approach to problem-solving and demonstrating initiative to drive results.
* Knowledge of digital marketing concepts and trends would be an advantage.
