About The Role
The Mechanical Shop Supervisor operates a mechanical workshop for the repair and maintenance of cars, trucks, tractors, small engines, and agricultural equipment, both diesel and petrol to support the prison's primary production. The position provides on-the-job instruction, accredited training, and supervision to prisoners who work in this area. The position holds a supervisory role over other staff in this area.
To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
1. Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (specialising in Vehicles)
