The Role
As Head of Faculty – Maths, you will:
* Lead and manage the mathematics department, driving high standards of teaching and learning.
* Develop and implement an engaging and ambitious maths curriculum.
* Support and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
* Monitor student progress, using data to drive improvements in attainment.
* Work closely with senior leadership to contribute to whole-school improvement.
* Play a key role in developing the academy’s Horizons project, which provides every student with a dedicated iPad to enhance learning through online and interactive technology.
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong track record of success in teaching maths.
* Proven leadership experience within a school setting.
* A passion for developing innovative teaching strategies to engage all learners.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
* A commitment to raising aspirations and achieving outstanding results.
