MRICS / FRICS Commercial / Mixed use Valuation Surveyors – Senior – Director level - Home working – Hiring in Peterborough / Cambridge.
My client is an experienced team of around seven carrying out Commercial and Residential valuation work across London, England and Wales.
Established over 10 years ago, they have a strong foothold in the secured lending space. They do not have further growth plans but are wanting to maintain their success and are therefore looking to hire on the back of one of their surveyors retiring.
Future equity opportunities are not off the table; two of their current surveyors have recently been given equity and earn approximately £100,000 - 140,000 per annum including commission.
You would be carrying out a wide range of valuation work, including HMO valuations, portfolio valuations, mixed use valuations, development part complete and ground up, offices, and retail. The only valuations that they avoid at present are of a trading nature.
Offering:
* Basic salary: £65-70,000 – OTE £100,000 - £110,000 approx. (client to confirm further details)
* Bonus scheme, paid monthly - Based on monthly invoicing – £500 provided they reach £15,000 in fee income in a month and 15% of everything invoiced over £15,000 per month. It is rare that their senior surveyors invoice less than £30,000 per month, and on that basis, provided they hit target, they should be receiving a monthly bonus in the region of £2,750.00 per month or an extra £33,000 per annum. The entire package therefore should be in the region of £100,000.
* Car allowance or company car can be provided with a lease budget of £650.00 plus VAT per month.
* Mileage allowance
* 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
* Workplace pension – 5% contribution
* RICS memberships and CPD covered
* Mobile phone and technology provided
Additional information:
* Five days a week home working with site visits daily
* Their standard SLA would be 3-5 working days from inspection with up to ten days for complex cases
* No VAS Panel work
* For reporting software, they use their own version of Valos which completes 80% of the report
* Client liaison and booking is all dealt with by their admin team who are very experienced.
* Their average commercial valuation fee - £1300 - 1500 report
* Speedy career progression / promotions available to the correct persons.
* Their admin team sets up files, obtains documents from borrowers, commissions, downloads title plans, pre-sets valuation reports, books inspections, puts reports together, sends them out, and invoices.
All figures quoted above are approximate, and there may be additional car allowance / bonus payments.
