We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our growing team. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this is a fantastic opportunity to support the business leaders with the accounting activities for their clients. Full-time role is for 32 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
1. Ensuring that each client is receiving the best standard of service possible
2. Bank reconciliations
3. Reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts
4. Updating and maintaining fixed asset registers
5. Supporting Management Accountants with preparation of monthly accounts and other ad-hoc client requests
6. Maintaining your own email inbox and any of your client inboxes - responses to be made by end of the day
7. Communicating with the team on cover needed when annual leave is taken or you are off sick
Your Profile
1. Proven track record in an Assistant Accountant role
2. A good level of IT literacy, with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
3. A confident communicator with both clients and colleagues
4. Strong customer service focus with the ability to maintain client relationships
5. Ability to problem solve, highlight issues, and find solutions
6. A self-starter that can work autonomously
7. Good attention to detail, organisation and planning skills
8. A collaborative team player
9. ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or qualified by experience
10. Flexible working with a 32-hour week with core hours of 10am-3pm four days per week.
11. Remote and home working is required.
