Agratas are seeking an experienced Finance Analyst to be based on a hybrid basis from our Coventry office to support the construction and industrialisation of our recently announced state-of-the-art, multi-billion-pound battery manufacturing facility near Bridgwater in Somerset.
The Finance Analyst will support the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with various stakeholders across the business. You will concentrate on preparing cashflow inputs, partnering with Treasury, and gathering insight from operational stakeholders to provide narratives for reporting. You will collaborate with the financial control team to support period-end activities, audit, and asset management.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
1. Manage process engineering spend, partnering with the Project Business Office and Procurement.
2. Deliver regular reporting and financial reports to support decision-making.
3. WBS creation and management for all process engineering costs.
4. Support implementation of EVM within Process Engineering.
5. Allocate costs to respective spend categories - controlling and monitoring vs budget and programme; reporting this to the project team and business stakeholders.
6. Stakeholder engagement - collaborate closely with the functional team, build relationships & drive financial awareness.
7. Collaborate with the Financial Control team to support period-end activities, audit, and asset management.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum part qualified accountant, with relevant experience is essential.
2. Strong analytic skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with large financial data sets.
3. Experience using financial models.
4. Proven experience of budgeting and forecasting.
5. Experience in project-based finance, preferably within the energy or auto manufacturing sector.
