The post holder will report directly to the Ultrasound Team Managers and will be expected to meet the following criteria To provide a high quality diagnostic ultrasound service by performing unsupervised scanning sessions. To independently formulate a comprehensive diagnostic report for ultrasound examinations, and to ensure that this is communicated to the appropriate referring clinician. To act as a source of expertise to clinicians/other hospital staff. To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. To maintain on-going professional development through attendance at clinical/scientific/multi-disciplinary meetings. To be involved in clinical training programmes, mentoring and supervising of both Student Sonographers Specialist Registrar Radiologists.
