Micheldever Tyre Services is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic Shift Manager to work Lates with excellent work ethic to join our team. Reporting to the Site Manager you will be responsible for assisting the Site Manager in managing the routine operational requirements of the Warehouse through strict adherence to Safe Systems of Work, implementing the Companies Standard Operational Policies, Procedures and Practices. Taking a proactive approach, you will assist the Site Manager to drive the Site forward with new initiatives and be accountable for the day to day management of your shift. Late shift hours are 17:00 to 02:30, overtime as required.
You will have worked in a similar environment with proven leadership skills in a managerial or supervisory role, creating operational plans management. You will be able to motivate, support and develop the operational management team by promoting a progressive leadership and management culture to individuals and developing a cohesive team. You will be able to regularly achieve resource targets against budgets and deliver the business objectives and KPIs.
The successful candidate will take a proactive approach to encourage multi-functional working to maximise development and efficiencies, drive the shift forward with new initiatives, whilst creating a positive working environment ensuring effective delivery of excellent customer service at all levels reflecting a professional corporate image.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of workplace Health & Safety and have the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business in an appropriate format. You will be able to support the site to maximise stock levels and product availability and maintain accurate records to ensure legal compliance.

Today, Micheldever Group is the fastest growing wholesaler, distributor and retailer of tyres in the UK, selling six million tyres nationwide, (20 percent of the total UK market) and employing approximately 2100 employees company wide.
