MAIN PURPOSE:
The Assistant OD Business Partner will work as part of the Learning and OD team and wider People Team with a focus on supporting the design, development and implementation of organisation wide programmes, policies, and strategies. This role will work with teams across the business to support a programme of continuous organisational performance improvement.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Support the Learning and OD Manager in the delivery of Brainkind’s OD agenda and improvement initiatives linking together people, process, and systems.
* Support the delivery of a wide range of people and OD projects to build on employee and organisational performance and culture change across the business.
* Co-ordinate the implementation of the Staff Annual Performance Reviews and associated support projects.
* Provide ideas and assist with the development and implementation of organisational development / strategic OD and Business Improvement policy and programmes.
* To take the lead on the implementation of the employee engagement survey, pulse surveys, managing the collection, analysis, and engagement data to enable the People and OD Business Partners to drive action plans.
* Build effective working partnerships with the P&OD BPs to ensure joined up approaches and deliverables with a focus on consultation, engagement, and communication.
* In conjunction with the P&OD BP’s and L&OD Manager assist in the implementation of the workforce strategy within Brainkind.
* Work in partnership with People and OD Business Partners to develop the capacity and capability of managers to undertake OD activities within their area of responsibility.
About you:
* Recognised professional Qualification in relevant field or willing to work towards. E.g. CIPD
* Knowledge of up-to-date legislation.
* Experience of working with a broad range of colleagues and external partners.
* Demonstrable experience working within a busy HR/OD environment.
* Excellent people skills, personable and able to develop good working relationships.
* Ability to network confidently and establish operational relationships with target groups, potential partners, and external stakeholders.
* An effective Team player who is capable of coping with changing circumstances and demand.
* Ability to think creatively to develop and enhance the employee experience.
* Full driving licence and is able to meet any travelling requirements of the post.
