Marshfield has undergone rapid improvement over recent years to become one of the country’s highest performing primary schools, ranking 22nd out of nearly 21000 schools in the 2019 KS2 SATS. This has led the school to be featured in the Sunday Times Parent Power lists and is one of the very small number of primary schools to be awarded World Class School Status by the World Class Schools Quality Mark.
The school has just over 470 students and is situated in a vibrant community serving a diverse demographic of children close to the centre of Bradford. Marshfield utilises a bespoke curriculum designed to create an enquiry-based approach to learning, with inspiring and culturally relevant teaching sequences led by teachers who are passionate in providing an outstanding primary education.
Marshfield is a ‘Nurturing School’, being the first primary school within the city to achieve this national award, in recognition of our continued emphasis on supporting the well-being and mental health of all staff, students, and families.
