The Vacancy
The successful candidate will be assigned to work with the Direct Works Services Tradesmen, carrying out a range of labouring tasks and assisting tradesman in the delivery of the Associations planned and cyclical replacement programmes. The operative will be capable of working on a wide range of construction tasks. Duties will include assisting with the removal and installation of kitchens. Offloading and loading work vans. Bathroom removals and disposal. Ideally someone who has labouring experience would be an advantage.
The post holder must be self-motivated and confident with a reasonable level of fitness capable of carrying out the wide range of duties required of a general operative/labourer. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a small repairs team to ensure the successful delivery of a quality, maintenance, and improvement service. (A full driving licence is essential for this post).
