Commercial Service Manager SLHD
Salary: Up to £50,788 (+ market supplement of £2,500)
Hours/Type: 37 hours per week, Full Time Permanent

Ensuring that all our homes are modern, decent and sustainable is one of our key business priorities. To help us drive forward our ambitious investment agenda, we are seeking to appoint an experienced and knowledgeable commercial and project management professional.
Reporting directly to the Head of Asset Management, the postholder will be responsible for delivering an outstanding commercial, contract and project management service.
Overseeing a dedicated team of technical and commercial management professionals, you will lead on the development of schemes of works that will include collation of pre-construction information, development of conceptual and technical designs and subsequent specifications. Once the schemes have been developed you will then oversee scheme delivery, contract and commercial management and act as client advisor / representative.
The role will include responsibility for cost management and ensuring all contracted works and services continue to offer value for money and deliver the outcomes and standards expected.
This important and valued role will also provide support to the wider Asset Management Service and will deputise for the Head of Asset Management when required.
As a member of the senior management team, the successful candidate will also play an active role in wider corporate strategic and operational issues, including budget and performance management alongside the development and delivery of corporate priorities and business objectives.

With direct links to major stakeholders, tenants and residents and the ability to make an impact from day one, this position will allow the successful individual to shape the delivery of major social housing investment projects in Doncaster, making a real difference for our tenants and residents.
