Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working with one of the UKs leading businesses that manufacture Upvc windows and doors, who are looking to recruit an experienced, commercial sales and estimating manager.
You will be responsible for managing a team of estimators, ensuring projects are secured to align with company targets, whilst maintaining accuracy and managing project risks.
The right candidate for this role will have extensive commercial estimating experience alongside managing a team within the fenestration industry.
Role responsibilities:
* Manage, support and train a team of estimators
* Seek out new opportunities and clients that meet the department criteria
* Create long lasting relationships with new and existing clients to ensure repeat business
* Undertake sales/estimating site surveys
* Ensure accuracy of quotations and adhere to company’s pricing structures and margins
* Manage project pipeline and provide regular comprehensive sales reports to the commercial director
* Chase through quoted projects and undertake negotiations to help estimators with conversion to orders.
* Review contract documents to ensure contract particulars reflect the details on our quotation.
* Undertake project handover meetings to operations team.
Candidates’ skills & experience:
* Have a strong background in sales estimating within the fenestration industry
* Experience using industry software such as Logikal, Windows Designer or Business Micros
* Hold excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Able to manage own work load and support a team
* Ability to work independently without supervision
* Have strong organizational and planning skills
* Willingness to travel to site
