Lead Software Engineer, Hands-on with people and technical management skills required, C#, SQL, JavaScript, Home Based c £75000 - 80000 (possible flex) + benefits
My client is a SaaS software technology company at the forefront of their market. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a hands-on Lead Software Engineer who will technically manage a team of Engineers. Utilizing agile methodologies, you will deliver high-quality software fortnightly.
A proven Lead Software Engineer with management experience, you will be responsible for mentoring and developing a small team and producing high-quality software. Collaborating with Product Owners, Project Managers, and fellow Lead Software Engineers, you will further develop the product.
Key Responsibilities
* Hands-on coding using your excellent C# experience (and ideally AWS or Azure).
* Technically manage/lead a small team of Software Engineers.
* Responsible for the fortnightly technical output.
* Collaborating with Product Owners on tactical delivery.
* Drive Agile across the team.
Experience Required
* You will be a technologist with excellent knowledge of C#, SQL, JavaScript, cloud-based technologies, and designing distributed systems.
* Team leading whilst remaining a hands-on software engineer.
* AWS or Azure experience.
* An enthusiast with ideas and experience of building and rolling out a technical roadmap.
* Proficient in Agile methodologies. Using a range of Agile tools and communicative prowess, you will drive Agile across the team.
