I'm working with a specialised and ambitious Microsoft Solutions Partner who are looking to expand their Internal Support Team.
They are looking for a driven Support Engineer to join their ranks and contribute to the continued success they've been experiencing year on year.

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day internal IT systems of the Company. The role involves a wide range of technologies with a diverse range of roles and responsibilities.
*Training and mentoring will be provided where required.
Responsibilities
You will be a driving force in delivering excellent levels of service to internal teams by providing a stable, secure and functionally-rich IT platform that will reflects the high standard of IT systems they deliver to their customers.
->You will need to be able to learn and adapt to new technologies as they appear as driven by Company requirements.
->Install and maintain systems ensuring the smooth and productive running of the Company, its systems and its employees, allowing them to deliver maximum benefit to customers
->Ensure all users receive an excellent level of performance from their IT systems and equipment, which enables them to do their job to the best of their ability
->Meet success criteria and performance targets
->To deliver the wider security objectives of the Company, including ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials +
->To reduce costs and drive efficiencies across the entire business
->Writing documentation, providing some coaching to your colleagues so that they can continue to learn from your experience and knowledge.
Objectives for Success:
-> 95%+ resolution of Internal IT tickets within SLA
-> Pass Microsoft certifications that are relevant to the job role and wider company objectives
-> 95%+ positive CSAT score on Internal IT tickets
-> Retention of Cyber Essentials+ and ISO27001 standards
-> Reduce overall IT spend by 15%
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
->
Desirable Technical Certifications:
MD-102, MS-700, SC-400, AZ-104, AZ-140, Extreme networks WiFi, FortiGate firewalls
->TCP/IP fundamentals
Technical Skills:
-> Microsoft Windows-based networks and servers, including Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune
-> Client computers running various Microsoft operating systems
-> iOS mobile devices and MDM experience
-> Experience of centralised administration, securing user environments with lock down
-> Experience of operating system installations, adding driver support for new hardware and maintaining builds
-> Ability to accurately test and diagnose problems in a systematic and logical manner prior to delivering projects to implementation
-> Ability to construct a UAT testing programme and deliver and test a working solution that meets the defined success criteria
-> Ability to design robust and supportable solutions with low administration and helpdesk overhead
-> High attention to detail, with an emphasis on providing a seamless, fuss-free but functionally rich end user experience to our end users
-> Ability to work autonomously for a wide programme of initiatives and projects, formulating a project plan and guiding it through to delivery
-> Configuring networking equipment
-> MS Office and other common client applications
-> Experience of application packaging and software deployment concepts and technologies
-> Group Policy, on-premise domains and other 'legacy' MS technologies
-> Microsoft Windows Server Update Services
-> Microsoft SQL Server installation and administration
-> RedStor backup solution
