The Company:
The Partnership of Care is an established Care Provider in South Wales delivering high quality specialist care and support in Domiciliary, Residential, Supported Living and Daytime Opportunity Service settings. The company works in partnership with Mysa Care which provides Residential and Nursing Care and Support in two North and South Regions.
We are looking for a Crisis Team Support Workers to join an experienced team of Support Workers, whose role is to work alongside teams during a crisis.
Main Responsibilities of a Crisis Team Support Worker
* Assist in meeting the complex support needs of individual people with learning disabilities.
* To have a sound understanding of behaviours that challenge and be able to respond appropriately.
* To work with new people through transitions.
* To be on call to go and support any staff team.
* To work alongside any team during a crisis.
* To mentor and guide staff, and offer support, advice and knowledge.
* To always be a positive role model.
* To use your own initiative when working.
About You
* QCF3
* PBS BTEC certificate or willingness to work towards
* To have a sound knowledge of people with learning disabilities and a years experience of working in a setting that supports people with a learning disability and behaviours of concern.
Licence
* Due to the nature of the role, a full driving licence is preferred.
