As a growing SEN school in Swindon, we are looking to welcome a School Youth Worker this term. The school is dedicated to encouraging a supportive, nurturing environment where students can express themselves freely and receive the support they need. Students at the school are aged from 4 to 16 years old and face challenges related to social, emotional, and mental health needs. The School Youth Worker role is a vital, rewarding position within the school’s community.
Main Responsibilities of a School Youth Worker:
1. Using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage students
2. Creating a safe environment for students to speak freely
3. Collaborating with educational psychologists to tailor learning plans
4. Implementing therapeutic techniques
5. Encouraging independence and self-investigation
6. Providing 1-1 based support and interventions
The school is excited to welcome a School Youth Worker to improve their students’ quality of education. Full training will be provided on-site to the successful applicant. Previous experience supporting SEN children is highly desirable! The school is looking for a confident, enthusiastic candidate to help their students make the most of their education.

* Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3:30
* £85 to £95 daily rate
