Supporting the production of the configurationmanagement plan Support the design and maintenance of configurationmanagement and release processes Dischargingconfiguration management activities in accordance with theplan Identification,production, release and delivery of software products to bothinternal and external customers Support thedefinition, implementation and maintenance of stakeholderconfiguration management requirements
* Supportconfiguration audit activities (i.e.FCA/PCA)
Coaching of theconfiguration management team Interfacing with the platform configuration managementteam to ensure that platform configurations are accuratelymaintained
Your skills andexperiences: Essential:
* Degree level qualification (or equivalent experience) inrelevant STEM subject (Engineering/ Physics/ Maths/Science)
Relevant Configuration Management standards (i.e.IEEE-828, ISO-TR-19759) Practical knowledge of the implementation ofconfiguration and release management Configuration Management toolsets (i.e. Micro focusDimensions) ReleaseManagement
Desirable:
Registered as CEng (or can demonstrate eligibility andcommitment to register for CEng within 12 months ofappointment) Systems andEngineering Lifecycle models (i.e. V orWaterfall) ConfigurationAuditing Process design anddevelopment

You will be involved in defining,establishing, approving, and maintaining the configuration andrelease management processes for products and supporting artefactsfor the Dreadnought program with the support of a team ofengineers.
