The Job Description:
As a Theatre Practitioner, you will be responsible for assisting our consultant ophthalmologists in cataract surgery procedures. Your tasks will include scrub assistant duties, anaesthetic assistant roles, pre-operative assessments, preparing patients for treatment, and undertaking pre-screening diagnostic duties. You will also be responsible for discharging patients with after-care advice and medications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need to be NMC or HCPC registered with previous theatre or scrub experience. You should also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
