The Golden Jubilee National Hospital is the West of Scotland Heart and Lung centre and home to the national advanced heart failure service, including heart transplant. It is also a national elective orthopaedic service.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner to join the cardiothoracic team to support delivery of services. The post holder will carry a delegated caseload and work with patients to assess, treat and discharge in the cardiothoracic services.
The successful candidate will be motivated, driven and will have excellent communication skills. They will work as part of the rehabilitation team in this busy and often unpredictable environment.
The team provides a seven-day service and this post has a weekend commitment of two weekends in four.
