We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Hackney to assist with the appointment of a Workforce & Practice Development Assistant, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: £20.36 - £26.03 per hour Summary: The Workforce & Practice Development Assistant will support workforce and practice development initiatives within the Children and Families Service. This role involves administrative support, training coordination, budget tracking, and assisting with service improvement projects. Responsibilities: Act as the first point of contact for workforce and practice development inquiries. Support training events, seminars, forums, and meetings. Maintain accurate records of workforce development opportunities and training. Coordinate payments and budget tracking related to training and development programs. Provide administrative support for ASYE, apprenticeship, and student programs. Assist with research, data analysis, and reporting on workforce development activities. Support large-scale projects and initiatives managed by senior officers. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, data protection, and best practices. Qualification: Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above Basic knowledge of services for children and young people Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
