Job Description Summary An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic finance team in GE Aerospace - Caledonian Engine Overhaul Facility. As Lead FP&A you will perform the role of management accountant, reporting directly to the Senior FP&A Leader. You will be engaged in wide range of activities supporting the operational needs of the business. Partnering with operating teams to provide advice, eliminate waste, through standard work and continuous improvement and deliver financial performance through the income statement. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities - Deliver on budget against 18 month cycle and quarterly forecasts at each level of the organization. - Establish relationships with operational budget holders to support delivery of KPI's - Analyse performance and propose action plans to improve profitability and cash generation, including eliminating waste and creating standard work. - Drive productivity improvements through labour efficiencies and quantify improvements in the income statement. - Execution of all core FP&A processes as well as the continual improvement of them - Responsible for closing and reporting deliverables to HQ, in Cincinnati, US. - Use judgment, experience and analytical thinking to propose alternative solutions to problem solving Required Qualifications - Self-starter who can work off their own initiative - Strong influencing skills and ability to partner with the business - Qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ICAS). - Strong proficiency in excel and other Microsoft office programmes. - Experience in FP&A Operations. Desired Characteristics - Organised, able to plan, communicate and execute according to defined timescales - Good communicator - both within and outside of the Finance function - Experience in an ERP System (eg.
