Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated forward thinking advanced clinical pharmacist to join us at LUHFT. Supporting the delivery and development of the medicines Optimisation agenda across LUHFT and Cheshire & Mersey Integrated Care Board (CMICB), working with healthcare professionals from all disciplines. The post will create an opportunity for an enthusiastic pharmacist to learn about medicines optimisation with our team of experts and help create support for medicines optimisation activity across the ICB and within the Trust. Main duties of the job Assist the Lead Pharmacists for the delivery of medicines optimisation activity to pharmacy services and medicines management within the directorate. Co-ordinate the agenda and ongoing actions of LUHFT Medicines Clinical Effectiveness Group (MCEG) Co-ordinate and contribute to the review and approval of new medicines requests to LUHFT MCEG Co-ordinate and contribute to the review and submission of individual funding requests to the relevant NHS commissioners Review and advise on medicines-related documents planned for submission to LUHFT MCEG in collaboration with clinical pharmacists and LUHFT Medicines Information team.
