Job title: Preconstruction Administrator

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 (DOE)
Are you a well-organised and proactive administrator looking to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a Pre construction Administrator to join a growing and ambitious team that plays a vital role in delivering high-quality construction projects.
In this role, you’ll be supporting the early stages of project delivery – from initial planning through to mobilisation – helping ensure everything runs smoothly, on time, and within budget. You’ll be working alongside a dedicated team who are passionate about safety, quality, and making a positive impact.
What you’ll be doing:
As part of the pre-construction team, you’ll be supporting the Pre-Construction Manager with a range of administrative and coordination tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the preparation of project proposals and client presentations
*
Supporting with budgeting and ensuring financial targets are met
*
Organising and scheduling surveys, preparing documentation, and liaising with clients and surveyors
*
Maintaining accurate project trackers and updating internal systems
*
Creating and updating client records, contracts, and site information
*
Attending meetings, taking minutes, and tracking actions to completion
*
Raising quotations for small works and variations (with support from the estimating team)
*
Helping to coordinate design, scope and specification details prior to project start
*
Handling basic reception duties such as answering calls and welcoming visitors
*
Identifying and flagging any risks during the pre-construction phase

We’re looking for someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the confidence to manage multiple priorities. You’ll need to be a team player, a clear communicator, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key skills and experience:

Previous experience in an administrative or coordinator role (ideally in construction, engineering, or a similar field)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*
Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office
*
Experience working with project or CRM systems (desirable)

A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn
