We are looking to strengthen our Construction team with a Commissioning Engineer, based at Burham. Burham WTW is a flagship site for the CMDP JV framework. You will be managing a highly-complex major investment project with exciting challenges to overcome. This high-profile project has longevity through AMP 8 and we are looking for a Commissioning Engineer who is capable of handling this type of clean water project.
You will report directly to the Commissioning Manager and will be managing all commissioning activities ensuring work is undertaken safely in accordance with Company Procedures, specifications, and good working practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out Commissioning Engineers R&R’s and deliver schemes in a safe compliant manner.
2. Review and monitoring of MEICA related Project risks.
3. Attend commissioning systems inductions and tool box talks.
4. Liaise with Design team to ensure plant commissioning requirements are incorporated at design stage and included in appropriate scope of works.
5. Review of design deliverables, including FDS, equipment and instrument lists, P&IDs, control philosophy and telemetry requirements.
6. Review and development of Compliance & Commissioning Plans in conjunction with design intent.
7. Oversee and sign off FAT and SAT, and process witness tests.
8. Assist in development of initial Commissioning Programme.
9. Attend Progress & Commissioning Meetings.
10. Compile commissioning documentation and deliverables.
11. Provide input into Commissioning Strategy Reviews and Documentation.
12. Liaise with sub-contractors regarding commissioning deliverables and interfaces.
13. Assist Training Coordinators in compilation of training deliverables and engage in SW Training sessions.
14. Assist O&M Coordinators in compilation and review of O&M Manuals.
15. Distribute Commissioning Log / Daily Diary’s and any other information from Engineers.
16. Assist in the preparation of take over reports.
17. Liaise with complete scheme delivery team.
