Human Resources Systems and Generalist Advisor 40,067 - 42,589 1 FTE / 35 Hours Based at Alloa Campus/Hybrid Permanent We currently have an excellent career opportunity in our Human Resources Department for an enthusiastic, motivated and positive individual who aspires to lead the way in professional HR practice and service delivery in this brand new dual role. As a Human Resources Systems and Generalist Advisor you will lead on the operation of our human resource information system (HRIS), iTrent, and provide a responsive and efficient information management service for HR and Payroll. You will also provide generalist HR advice and support to managers and staff in specific areas including recruitment and employment contracts, absence management, policy/procedures and CPD; assisting and supporting your HR colleagues. We are currently going through an exciting period of change with the introduction of a new recruitment and onboarding platform as well as rolling out new performance management and learning modules and you will be integral in ensuring these are embedded efficiently in line with college requirements. Ideally, you will have the technical experience of iTrent across a number of modules but this should not prohibit you from applying if you have experience working technically with other HR/Payroll systems. Our one source of truth for the workforce comes from iTrent and so you must have advanced excel skills in order to manipulate reports from PowerBi to produce the data required for our mandatory reporting and other data analytics. With regards to the HR generalist work, you will have experience providing professional guidance and support to managers and staff ensuring it is in line with current policy, contractual terms.
