Job Description
* Managing a variety of employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance and absence
* Providing expert advice and guidance on ER matters to managers and employees
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
* Ensuring all ER activities are compliant with employment law and regulations
* Liaising with Trade Unions and managing TU relationships
* Analysing key data to use trends across absence, sickness and retention in strategic decision making
* Collaborating with the wider HR business partnering team on projects and initiatives
The Successful Applicant
A successful ER Advisor should have:
* Previous experience in ER with evidence of managing your own case load (Circa 20 with this role)
* Trade Union experience is desirable
* Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* A proactive approach to problem-solving
* Analytical with strong attention to detail
