Design and Technology (DT) Technician
Location: Outskirts of Bristol
Start Date: January 2025
Contract: Full-Time

We are working with a forward-thinking secondary school based just outside Bristol, who are looking for a skilled and motivated DT Technician to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities of a DT Technician:
Assist teaching staff in preparing materials and resources for DT lessons
Maintain, operate, and ensure the safety of DT machinery and tools, such as lathes, drills, and 3D printers
Ensure a safe and well-organised workshop environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols
Provide technical support to staff and students during practical lessons
Manage stock levels and order materials when required Essential Requirements of a DT Technician:
Practical experience using and maintaining DT machinery
Strong understanding of health and safety procedures within a workshop environment
Experience working in challenging environments, preferably within secondary education
Excellent organisational and communication skills
