Overview:
Are you a Reception Teacher (with QTS) looking for a dynamic new teaching role in an excellent primary school in Hitchin?
Do you enjoy inspiring students across Early Years with engaging lessons?
We are seeking an enthusiastic Reception Teacher who can start in either Feburary or after the Easter Holidays.
You will be expected to deliver high quality lessons to a diverse group of students, helping them excel in their language skills and cultural understanding.
This role is employed permanently.
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or a level 6 Early Years Qualification is essential.
You will need to:
* Work as a Reception Teacher by planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
* Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
* Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and school leadership to enhance the educational experience.
* Adhere to school policies and procedures, including those related to child protection and safeguarding.
* Within your role as a Reception Teacher you will need to teach the Early Years Curriculum.
Qualifications
* Experience as a Reception/Early Years Teacher within a Primary School.
* Qualified Teacher Status or a Level 6 Early Years Qualification.
* Strong knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum.
* Confidence in maintaining a good code of behaviour.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students
