Job Overview:
MOOV are on the hunt for a talented designer to work on an array of amazing projects in the sports and entertainment industry. A team player, highly organised with great communication skills with excellent attention to detail. Your portfolio will show a range of energetic designs and styles, ideally in the sport sector and naturally you have a hunger to develop your skills in emerging software.
It is paramount that you have a passion for sport and enjoy creating branding and motion content for all types of programming including live graphics, title sequences, augmented reality and virtual studio.
Location:
This position is based in West London with some remote work flexibility. Occasional travel within the UK or abroad may be necessary to support new project launches.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design high-quality 2D / 3D designs and motion graphics for major sports and entertainment broadcasts, delivering polished visuals with ‘wow’ factor.
* Quickly visualise ideas turning creative concepts into compelling storyboards and helping define the visual narrative of each project.
* Work closely with clients and internal creative teams including designers, real-time artists, and producers to understand project objectives and deliver best-in-class motion design.
* Originate content for MOOVs social media channels and show reels.
* Keep up to date with design trends, particularly within sports and entertainment broadcasting, to maintain a fresh, cutting-edge aesthetic in our projects.
* Support the team with concepts when responding to pitches by developing high quality designs and animations.
About You:
* Proven experience in motion design for broadcast and clear understanding of delivery methods such as frame rates, colour space and safety guidelines.
* Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, captivating visuals that tell a story and resonate with audiences.
* Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop).
* Excellent skills in Cinema 4D or similar 3D software such as Unreal Engine in creating motion graphics.
* Ability to manage multiple projects, consistently meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
* A passion and understanding of sports and entertainment broadcasting will be beneficial.
* Proven experience of working with and developing brands and excellent typography and layout skills.
* Able to work alone and collaboratively with internal teams and external clients.
* Professional, adaptable and hard working with the ability to manage feedback with professionalism.
