Job Title: Locum Audiologist Band: 5/6 Rate: £19-28 per hour Location: Worthing Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 weeks Working Hours: Tuesday to Friday (Compressed Hours) University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Audiologist to join their team in Worthing, West Sussex. The successful candidate will be responsible for covering hearing assessments and fittings, providing vital audiology services to the local community. This is a great opportunity for an audiologist with a passion for patient care and audiological services to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. The role is based in Worthing and offers compressed working hours from Tuesday to Friday. Responsibilities: As a Locum Audiologist, you will be responsible for conducting hearing assessments, fitting hearing aids, and providing ongoing support for patients with hearing loss. You will work with a variety of audiological equipment and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing impairments. The role also involves patient education, including advising on the use of hearing devices and offering solutions to improve hearing quality. You will be expected to maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications and Experience: HCPC Registration as an Audiologist Proven experience in performing hearing assessments and fitting hearing aids Strong understanding of audiological procedures and equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous NHS experience is desirable A flexible and patient-centered approach to care Why work with Pulse?
