Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
* Develop and implement a stimulating and inclusive English curriculum.
* Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of students.
* Provide constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their potential.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
* Participate in extracurricular activities and school events that promote the English department.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in English or a related field.
* Experience teaching English at the Secondary school level is desirable.
* Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and current educational best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Pay rate is dependent on experience & qualifications.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
