Our client is a well-established franchise dealership, known for delivering excellent customer service and offering a wide range of genuine vehicle parts.
Role Overview: As a Parts Advisor, you will play a key role in managing and supplying parts for both our workshop and retail customers. You will be responsible for identifying the correct parts, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring an efficient and professional service. This role is ideal for someone with strong automotive knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify, source, and supply vehicle parts for workshop technicians and retail customers.
2. Provide expert advice on parts, ensuring customers receive the correct items.
3. Manage and maintain stock levels, placing orders as necessary.
4. Process parts orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to customers and the workshop.
5. Handle customer queries, both over the phone and in person, ensuring a high level of customer service.
6. Maintain accurate records of parts transactions and inventory levels.
7. Work closely with other departments to support the overall operation of the dealership.
Key Requirements:
1. Previous experience in a Parts Advisor role, preferably within a franchised dealership.
2. Strong knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle systems.
3. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
4. High level of organization and attention to detail.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Familiarity with parts cataloguing systems and software.
