The Opportunity:
* Role: Graduate Learning Support Mentor
* Salary: £540- £570 per week (term-time only)
* Location: Hayes (UB4), Greater London
* Hours: Monday - Thursday (08:00 - 15:30), Friday (08:30 - 13:00)
* Start Date: ASAP – July 2025 (minimum)
* Ideal for: Graduates considering a career in education or SEND support
Who We’re Looking For:
* A graduate (2:2 or above) in any subject
* Passionate about supporting students with additional learning needs
* Enthusiastic, friendly, and confident in engaging young people
* Committed to inclusion and equal opportunities
* Able to work effectively within a team-focused environment
* Some understanding of the barriers to learning faced by students with SEN
Key Responsibilities:
* Support students inside and outside the classroom to enable full participation
* Provide personal and academic support to students with SEN
* Foster positive relationships with students, promoting confidence and engagement
* Encourage student independence while maintaining high expectations for progress
* Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to create a supportive learning environment
