WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE Location: LIGHTBODY EUROCENTRAL, BRITTAIN WAY, MOTHERWELL, ML1 4YF Shift: Pitman Shift Pattern (Week one, Mon, Tues, Sat and Sunday. Week 2, Wed, Thurs and Friday. 10:00 - 22:00 We have an exciting opportunity to join the Logistics and Distribution team at our Eurocentral distribution site as part of ‘Finsbury Food Group’. 135 years of craft baking skills lie behind the quality of the special branded cakes, sweet snacks and slices we produce in Hamilton and 55 million products are produced each year which are then distributed from Eurocentral. It would be great if you have experience of working in a warehouse environment but this is not essential as full training will be provided. All of our applicants will be invited to a site interview which will consist of a tour, meeting the management team and completing our English language assessment. This is what you’ll actually do As one of our Warehouse Operatives, you’ll be working as part of the wider team to ensure our products are loaded and ready to be sent to our customers. We are a 24 hours, 7 days a week operation and you will be required to support and assist the Assistant Shift Manager in the day to day running of the Warehouse. Throughout your day, you will be responsible for accurate completion of paperwork, paying close attention to detail. Loading and unloading of vehicles, handle stock/materials and locate physically to scan. Order picking and putting stock away via scanner. You will be expected to comply with all company policy including Health & Safety, Security, Hygiene Standards and cleaning schedules ensuring we are consistently compliant in line with Food Safety Standards.
