Job summary An exciting opportunity has opened up in the Ambulatory Emergency Care Unit for a Band 5 Adult registered nurse who has experience in acute medical care and emergency services. This is open to registered nurses who are interested in a fast paced working environment and would like to develop the skills of triaging, history taking, physical assessment and providing same day emergency procedures to a variety of medical patients. You will be joining a team of nurses, doctors, advanced nurse practitioners, medical technical assistants, emergency health care assistants in providing timely assessments and management to our acute medical patients. We receive direct GP referrals, Emergency Department referrals and Urgent treatment Care referrals to facilitate quick care pathways, liaising with appropriate speciality inputs and prevent unnecessary admissions accordingly.
