Salary: £42,000 per annum
Working Hours: 5 out of 7 days per week

Key Responsibilities:
1. Play a key role in contributing to the culinary excellence at Chelsea FC
2. Oversee the production of pastries and desserts for both matchday and non-matchday events
3. Work closely with the Head Pastry Chef to assist with menu development, quality control, team leadership and ensuring the seamless execution of pastry offerings
4. Ensure the efficient, economical and sustainable use of all ingredients with a heavy focus on a vegan-first offering
5. Collaborate with the Head Pastry Chef to design and create innovative pastry menus
6. Ensure menu items align with the levy and Chelsea FC culinary vision
7. Oversee the production of high-quality pastry and dessert items for various outlets and events (circa 6,000 covers on a matchday)
8. Manage the preparation and execution of offerings in a fast-paced environment
9. Identify additional opportunities for product efficiency, improvement and concepts
10. Ensure all customer requirements are delivered in line with the expectation
11. Make sure all relevant paperwork is completed on a daily basis and any set operational procedures are followed
Minimum Requirements:
1. Proven experience working as a Pastry Sous Chef in a sports stadium, hotel or events and confex environment
2. Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, trends and ingredients
3. Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional pastry experiences
4. Strong communication and collaboration skills with experience leading a small brigade of chefs
5. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
6. Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
7. Relevant food hygiene certificate
