TheRole:
* Deliver engagingand handson Design & Technology lessons across Key Stages 3and 4 with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on yourspecialism and experience.
* Foster a love ofdesign and technology in students encouraging them to explore avariety of materials techniques andtechnologies.
* Create a dynamic andcollaborative workshop environment where students feel safe toexperiment innovate and develop their design and makingskills.
* Contribute to the development andimplementation of an innovative DT curriculum that reflects currenttrends and best practices.
* Assess and monitorstudent progress providing constructive feedback and guidance tosupport their design and technologicaldevelopment.
The IdealCandidate:
* QualifiedTeacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A strongunderstanding of the UK National Curriculum for Design &Technology.
* A proven track record of successfulteaching and learning outcomes in DT.
* Excellentclassroom management skills and the ability to differentiateinstruction to meet the needs of alllearners.
* A passion for Design &Technology and a commitment to fostering creativity and innovationin young people.
