About The RoleTeam – IT OperationsWorking Pattern - Office – 4 days per week in the Vitality Bournemouth Office with 1 day a week at home. Full time, 35 hours per week. We are happy to discuss flexible working!What this role is all about:This role operates as part of the 2nd Line function that provides remote and deskside IT support for Vitality users across the Group, globally. Working across a broad range of technologies and liaising across multiple areas of the business to support Incidents, Problems and Requests through multiple channels while explaining solutions in technical and nontechnical terms.Some technical responsibilities will include resolving a variety of technical hardware, software, application and infrastructure issues, communicating with internal stakeholders, VIP’s and external 3rd parties to drive issues to completion where appropriate. Key Actions
1. Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for applications, printers, computer hardware and OS, telephony and any other authorised peripheral equipment.
2. Being responsible as a site support engineer but also remote engineer for a substantial corporate user base.
3. Being instrumental in the creation of strong and effective relationships with business users to ensure that service delivery meets their expectations.
