Job Description
Humans Services Recruitment is actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to oversee and direct Supported Living and Children's care services. This role is crucial in ensuring high-quality care for a wide range of clients, including younger and adults including individuals with learning and physical difficulties, enduring mental health issues, and sensory impairments.
Key Responsibilities:
Comprehensive management of our care services, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to CQC and Ofsted standards.
Developing and implementing person centred care and support plans and robust risk assessments that meet the individual needs of our diverse client group.
Fostering a supportive and positive environment for clients, families, and staff.
Direct day-to-day liaison with clients, family members, social workers, community mental health teams, and other stakeholders.
Supervising and mentoring staff to ensure a high level of competence and knowledge in providing care.
Ensuring compliance with medication administration protocols and ongoing compliance with both CQC and Ofsted care regulations.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to client care and facility operations.
Managing day to Health and safety matters.
Managing day to day staff training, performance, supervision and appraisals.
Overall responsibility for management and growth of the Care and Support Service, ensuring ongoing compliance with both CQC and Ofsted regulatory frameworks.
Requirements
Requirements:
Senior management qualification in health and social care (e.g., NVQ, Diploma).
Extensive experience in a management role within a health and social care setting.
Demonstrated ability in care planning, risk assessments, and handling complex care needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and relationship-building.
Proven ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment.
- In-depth understanding of the diverse needs of clients including those with learning difficulties, mental health issues, and sensory impairments.
Additional Notes:
Candidates must be competent in conflict resolution and capable of handling the day-to-day operations of a large, complex health and social care service. The role requires an on-call commitment at first or second level as needed.
The position is dependent on successful SC1 / SC2 Ofsted Application and a satisfactory enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service.
