Business Development Manager
THE ROLE : As a BDM within this division of the business, you will manage an account base of both existing customers across residential plumbing and heating installers and new build developers. There will be a need to be both technically involved, understanding the design process and also the working of buildings, heat loss calculations and technical drawings as well as someone who can engage with home owners through to developers and contractors. This is a unique business in their underfloor heating, HVAC and controls offering and they work with a wide range of manufacturers to deliver best in class, premium solutions for end users. You will be well supported in your role with a CRM, industry training and a very experienced internal sales, technical and marketing team around you. This role will involve a full induction and technical training of in house systems. Candidates will need to be au fait with reading and working on technical drawings and understand either HVAC, underfloor heating, boilers or related porducts. Key to success in this role is a desire to work hard, technical credibility and drive to develop and expand business opportunities. Candidates should have a full driving licence, a willingness to be in field daily and be passionate about the sector.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
· 2 years or more working in field sales within plumbing and heating or HVAC
· Have sold a heating product to either contractors, installers or developers
· Ability to manage a pipeline of projects and long sales cycle
· Any experience of working on underfloor heating, heat pumps or boilers would be useful
Salary: £45,,000 basic salary, plus OTE, company car, mobile, laptop, 25 days holiday, pension scheme
