Position: Sr. Analyst, Cross Energy Transition Team
The Team: The Cross Energy Transition Team Initiatives uniquely focuses on developing and implementing transversa, or team-wide, initiatives. Our mission is to target operational excellence and facilitate the integration of S1, thereby enabling the research teams to focus on their core capabilities. We also support exploring partnerships and screening opportunities for inorganic growth. Ultimately this role will be judged on its ability to help the team identify and execute partnerships, internal and external, and the ability to help the team create efficiency through workflow and use of technology.
Responsibilities and Impact:
This role is pivotal in supporting the Cross Energy Transition Team in developing and implementing transversals and creating operational excellence. These initiatives are designed to ensure the energy transition (ET) research teams are utilizing best practices widely and deploying cutting-edge AI tools, thereby significantly increasing their capacity to focus on core capabilities. The role involves working alongside other Cross Energy Transition team members to gather feedback on ET research workflow challenges, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with team members on scalable solutions. The role will involve aspects of a project manager, meaning there will be a focus on tracking improvements, creating standard operating procedures for consistency and efficiency, facilitating communication and collaboration between different teams, and ensuring projects are moving forward. For example, working with multiple teams to automate data collection or simplify the publishing of research reports.
What We're Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
1. Basic understanding of Energy Transition data structure and researcher workflow.
2. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
3. Strong problem-solving skills: understanding a problem and quickly identifying multiple scalable solutions.
4. Proven experience in workflow optimization, process improvement, or project management.
Additional Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Research, or a related field.
2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments (e.g. research, tech).
4. Strategic thinker with a focus on results and performance improvement.
5. Innovative mindset with a commitment to drive results.
