Teaching Personnel are working closely with a secondary school that is a well-regarded institution located in a pleasant village near the coast, offering a comprehensive education for students aged 11-16. The school is known for its high-quality education and inclusive environment, where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
The school has a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision, ensuring that all students receive the support they need. This includes a specialised resource provision which caters to high-functioning autistic students who can access mainstream lessons with the assistance of Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to help them integrate and succeed in the classroom.
Additionally, the school has a team of SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators) and LSAs who work closely with students requiring extra support. The school also provides various resources and facilities to accommodate students with physical and learning disabilities, including wheelchair access, accessible toilets, and designated parking bays.
The school's commitment to inclusivity is further demonstrated through its support for students with communication and language needs, as well as those from diverse backgrounds. The staff includes Emotional Literacy Support Assistants (ELSAs), a school nurse, and other welfare officers to ensure the well-being of all students.
