What you’ll do:
As Workshop Supervisor you’ll be responsible for the overall operations of the workshop, and overseeing, and supporting the Control Valve Technicians within the business.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Provide the business and our customers with advanced skills to inspect, test and repair our valves.
Be the subject matter expert for the function, inspection, and repair of our valves.
Support our customer's with troubleshooting and root cause analysis on valves, ensuring efficient and effective service provision.
Provide our team and our customers with technical solutions to eliminate downtime of the our product.
Ensure documentation is kept up to date and compliant.
Flexibility to mobilise to site or offshore in support of contracts or escalations.
What you’ll need:
Apprenticeship in relevant discipline plus 5 years post qualification experience preferred or HNC/NVQ in a relevant discipline.
Experience with repairing various valves, specifically Control / Relief / Isolation Valves and actuation, whether pneumatic, hydraulic is essential.
Ability to problem solve service-related issues, and work towards tight deadlines.
Previous people management experience is essential to support, and mentor our Control Valve Technicians effectively.
