Join our Warehouse Team and play a crucial role in our daily operations You’ll work in compliance with Health and Safety regulations, food safety laws, and customer quality standards. Your duties will be diverse, including operating material handling equipment, de-racking, racking, picking, palletizing, and loading. Plus, you'll keep the warehouse tidy and organized. Flexibility is key, as tasks may shift based on volume, and you may collaborate with different departments as needed. Pay: £12.10 per hour Complete the daily picking sheets provided by the Team Leader or Shift Manager. Communicate any stock shortages to the Team Leader for investigation and to inform internal and external customers. Store incoming products on the correct racking according to stock rotation procedures and product shelf life, ensuring accurate scanning for full traceability. Maintain your health, safety, and welfare, as well as that of your colleagues, in line with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and COSHH regulations, and report all accidents and near misses. Respect and uphold the Karro ethical policies and codes of conduct in all interactions with colleagues. Perform stock rotation using FIFO principles at all times. Load finished products onto vehicles as instructed. Assist with internal and external audits when required. Complete relevant paperwork, such as temperature records, accurately and on time, and store or deliver it to the correct personnel. Only operate tools, equipment, machines, or vehicles for which you have received full training and have been deemed fit to use. Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues while meeting daily departmental targets set by your line manager (current pick rates: 275–300). Be prepared to undertake any other reasonable requests from your line manager.
