We are looking for an enthusiastic person who has a willingness to learn new skills or enhance the ones they already have. This is an interesting role open to anyone with a willingness to learn. You will work on a variety of sites all over the country. We offer great career progression with salary increases to match.
The role involves working fully supported alongside other engineers in the installation of trackers, camera systems, and other vehicle accessories on different types of vehicles. Responsibilities include filling out electronic job cards on site, liaising with customers, general housekeeping and cleaning of vehicles, and any other duties required.
Established in 2007, we are a small business that supplies and installs aftermarket equipment to various types of vehicles and plant machinery. We pride ourselves on our quality of work and expect a great install combined with great customer service every time from our installers. We have a relaxed pace of work; it's more about getting the job done right rather than how many jobs you can do in a day.
The role includes a large degree of travelling as we work all over the country, and very occasionally an overnight stay (normally not more than 2 or 3 nights per month). Some degree of flexibility will be required for start/finish times to meet the needs of various contracts.
Specialist tools, van, and uniform are provided (business only), along with consumables and PPE. However, you must provide your own basic tool kit (hand tools).
- Full time - 4 days per week, Monday - Thursday, with the option for more overtime as required.
- On-the-job training will be provided, so you must be enthusiastic with a willingness to learn new skills.
- Must be flexible as there are varied start and finish times to meet the needs of the job.
- Must be reliable and trustworthy.
- Must have a Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must have a good understanding of English, both spoken and written.
Any questions? Just send us a message, and we would be happy to have a chat.
IMPORTANT - Please send your CV and a covering letter telling us why you think you would be suited to this role and what interests you about the job. Failure to send a covering letter will see your application rejected.
