Labourer External Works
40 Hours Per Week (8.00 am 4.30 pm Mon to Fri)
Starting salary : c£27,208 per annum
(including £1,000 Annual Vehicle Responsibility Allowance)
We are looking for a Labourer to join our External Works team, which is a part of our wider Homefix team. Our Homefix brand provides high-quality responsive repairs and planned works service to our customers.
You will be responsible for assisting skilled trades colleagues in external works which includes, but are not limited to, roofing/guttering repairs, fencing, patio repairs, bricklaying repairs and loft insultation. You will also clear and maintain the working area, ensuring safety standards are met and the environment is tidy and hazard free. Working alongside skilled trade colleagues, this is an excellent pathway to develop a trade, with a specific development plan to a semi-skilled labourer position.
To be successful in this role you will need to:
* Have good customer service and communication skills
* Be able to work well within a team and independently
* Have excellent time-management skills to meet deadlines
* Be confident in using IT including hand-held device
* Willingness to work outside during all weathers
* Physical ability to undertake demanding manual handling activities
* Have a full UK driving license
